How much does a home battery save?
The profitability of a home battery should not be assessed on purchase price alone. What matters is the total benefit: how much the battery reduces electricity purchases during expensive hours and how much it earns in the Emaldo Grid Rewards programme.

What makes up the price of a home battery?
The total price of a home battery consists of the system (battery modules and inverter), the number of batteries and the installation to the distribution board. If the home already has solar panels, the system is chosen to work with the existing inverter or replace it.
Because every home is different, we do not quote a one-size-fits-all price. We provide a quote based on your property's consumption, electricity connection and any solar power. Financing is available, allowing the monthly instalment to be lower than the benefits generated by the battery.
How much does a home battery save per year?
With a spot price contract, the battery charges during the cheapest hours and discharges power for home use during the most expensive ones. With solar panels, daytime surplus is retained for your own use instead of being sold cheaply to the grid.
In addition, the battery can earn flexibility revenue. In the Emaldo Grid Rewards programme, the electricity supplier pays guaranteed earnings for the battery's flexibility for three years, up to 90 €/month.
