How does a home battery cut your electricity bills?
A home battery stores solar energy or cheap spot-price electricity to power your home during peak hours. Total savings depend on your consumption, electricity contract and system capacity.
What is Emaldo's guaranteed return based on?
Guaranteed earnings are powered by Emaldo's Grid Rewards programme and agreements with electricity suppliers. The monthly return depends on the system type, battery count and energy retailer.
Does a home battery work during a power cut?
Backup power requires an optional Backup Power unit. It is not included in the standard home battery package; requirements and installation are tailored to each property.
Can the battery capacity be expanded later?
Yes. The Emaldo Power Core system can be easily expanded with additional batteries as your energy needs grow, up to 143.36 kWh.
Does a home battery need an internet connection?
A reliable internet connection is required for system monitoring and control. We recommend a dedicated wireless router, which Watti can provide, monitor and maintain as a monthly service.
How is the size of a home battery chosen?
System sizing accounts for annual consumption, peak usage times, solar generation, electric heating, EVs and emergency power needs. Watti calculates the optimal setup based on your site data.
