What data we collect

  • Quote requests and enquiries: name, email address, phone number, address and site details.
  • Online shop orders: order, delivery and payment details (payments are processed by Shopify).
  • Reseller accounts: company and contact person details and order history.
  • Cookies and usage data only with your consent (see cookie policy).

Purpose and legal basis

We use data to prepare quotes, fulfil orders, provide customer service and meet statutory obligations (e.g. accounting). The legal basis is a contract, legitimate interest or consent. We only carry out marketing and visitor tracking with consent.

Data recipients

  • Shopify (online shop and payments)
  • Cloud service provider for data storage
  • Delivery companies for shipping orders
  • Google (visitor tracking and advertising measurement, if you have accepted analytics or marketing cookies)
  • Meta (advertising measurement, if you have accepted marketing cookies)

We also measure clicks on phone numbers and email addresses (not the numbers or addresses themselves). Tracking is implemented through Google Tag Manager and only starts after you have made your cookie choice. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings. Data may be transferred outside the EU under the protection of EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

When a purchase is completed at the online shop checkout, purchase event data (order number, amount, taxes, delivery costs and products) is sent to Google and Meta for advertising measurement and visitor tracking, if you have accepted the relevant cookies in the checkout cookie notice. Your name, email or address is not shared. You can change your choice in the checkout cookie settings.

Retention period

Quote requests are retained for up to 3 years. Order and accounting data is retained for 6–10 years in accordance with the Finnish Accounting Act.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction, deletion or transfer, and object to its processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Requests: info@watti.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
